Protective surgical apron is worn under the normal surgical apron. It protects the user against the x-rays exposed during the surgery. As the hand sterilization is vital in surgeries, this apron can be taken off by unfastening velcro bands by the doctor’s assistant in the situations when the x-ray exposion ends but surgery continues.
